FAQs
We’re excited to get your order to you! Each parcel is packed with care and will usually be ready to leave us within 3–4 working days (excluding Express Shipping). As our team and delivery partners take a break on weekends and public holidays, these days aren’t included in our packing time.
As soon as your parcel is on its way, we’ll send you an email so you can follow its journey to your doorstep.
If you’ve ordered a preorder piece, we’ll keep your order together and send everything once it arrives. If you simply can’t wait for the other pieces, we recommend placing them in a separate order so they can make their way to you first.
All our parcels come with tracking, so you can follow your order as it makes its way to you. The delivery times above are estimates and include both packing and shipping time; weekends and public holidays aren’t counted as working days.
If your parcel is taking a little longer than expected, have a quick look at your tracking details for the latest update. And if it still hasn’t found its way to you, please get in touch with us by email or through our contact form.
We’ll be happy to look into it for you, help locate your parcel and work out the best next step to get your order safely to you.
Need something in a hurry? You can find The Ordinary Co at selected stockists around Singapore, where our shawls are available to purchase and take home on the spot.
As our online orders are packed and fulfilled separately, we’re unfortunately unable to offer in-store collection for purchases made through our website. If time is of the essence, we recommend visiting one of our stockists instead.

Spotted a mistake in your delivery address? If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, simply drop us an email at enquiries@theordinary.co with the correct details and we’ll be happy to update it for you.
Once a parcel is on its way, we’re unfortunately unable to redirect it. If an incomplete or incorrect address results in your parcel being returned to us, we’ll get in touch once it arrives and arrange to send it your way again. An additional delivery fee will apply for re-shipping.
Returned parcels can sometimes take a little journey of their own, so please allow up to 3 weeks for them to make their way back to us and be processed.
*International Orders Only
A little note for our friends overseas: your order may be subject to customs duties, taxes or import fees when it arrives in your country. These charges are determined by your local authorities and, where applicable, will need to be paid by the recipient.
As customs policies vary from country to country, these fees aren’t included in your order and unfortunately aren’t something we’re able to predict or control. If you’d like to know what to expect before ordering, we recommend checking with your local customs office.
From time to time, parcels may also be held by customs for additional checks, which can add a little extra time to their journey. While this is outside our control, your tracking details will help you follow your parcel along the way.
We begin preparing your order shortly after it’s placed so we can get it on its way to you as soon as possible. Because of this, we’re unable to make changes or amendments once an order has been confirmed.
From time to time, we open preorders for pieces that are making their way back to us.
Preorders typically arrive at our warehouse within 3-4 weeks, although there may occasionally be delays along the way. Once they arrive, we’ll pack and send your order as usual - the preorder timeline does not include delivery time to your address, so do refer to our shipping estimates above for your location.
If you need your shawl by a particular date, we recommend choosing an in-stock piece instead, just to be safe.
Having a little trouble with your coupon code? It may have expired, be unavailable during a sale period, or only apply to selected items.
Have a quick check that the code has been entered correctly and that any minimum spend or promotion requirements have been met. If everything looks right and it’s still not working, drop us a note - we’ll be happy to take a look for you.
Our gift wrapping is available as a little extra, for when you’re giving a shawl to someone special.
By default, your gift wrapping will be packed separately from your shawls, with a sturdy cardboard backing to ensure it reaches you in beautiful condition.
Prefer to have your gift ready to give?
Simply leave us a note at checkout with your wrapping instructions, and we’ll be happy to take care of it for you.
Sending a little something directly to someone special? Gift-wrapped orders can include a personal printed note - simply leave your message in the order notes at checkout, and we’ll include it with your gift.
During our busiest festive periods and selected bundle promotions, we may pause custom gift notes temporarily so we can get everyone’s orders packed and on their way in time.
