Local Shipping

The parcels will be dispatched via Ninjavan and tracking numbers will be provided via email once the item has been shipped.

For local orders, please allow your parcels up to 3 working days to reach you once it leaves our warehouse. Do note that weekends and public holidays are not working days.

Express Mail via Courier

For local (Singapore) orders, the courier will deliver the parcel within 1-2 working days after it has been packed and processed for delivery. Please allow an additional 1 working day for order processing and verification. Do place and pay for your order before 12pm on the working day to receive it by the next working day. Orders placed after 12pm will reach you within 2 working days from shipment.

The courier will deliver the parcel to your doorstep and your mobile number will be provided for them to contact you.

There will also be an additional charge for re-delivery should nobody be present to receive the package or answer the phone. Do also indicate in your order comments if you have a specific time you would like your order to be delivered by. 

International Mail Zone 1: Malaysia

There is a fixed flat rate of RM25.00 for postage to Malaysia & Brunei regardless of the number of items ordered. Do kindly allow 5-10 working days for the package to reach you. Parcels are shipped via Singpost Registered Mail.

Shipping is free of charge for orders above RM350.00

Parcels sent to Malaysia will be sent via Ninjavan.

International Mail Zone 2: Rest of the World

There is a fixed flat rate of SGD20.00 (USD15.00~) for postage to the Rest of the World (excluding Malaysia & Brunei) regardless of the number of items ordered. The table below is Singpost's estimated time for delivery, however from experience, do kindly allow up to 3-4 weeks for the package to reach you. Parcels are shipped via Singpost Ordinary Mail - Air and will be transferred to your local national postal service where the same tracking number can be used.

Shipping is free of charge for orders above SGD200.00 (USD150.00).

Has my order been shipped out?

All parcels (excluding Express Mail) require 3-4 working days to be shipped out, do kindly note that weekends and public holidays are not working days for our team and the post office.

You will be notified via email once the item is on its way. For preorder items, the entire shipment will only be mailed out once the backorder items arrive. 

My order has not arrived yet.

All orders come with tracking numbers, please refer to the table above on estimated delivery times (Packing + Shipping). Do kindly note that weekends and Public Holidays are not working days for packing.

If it is past the estimated time and your order still has not reached you, do check your tracking number, or reach out to us via email at enquiries@theordinary.co or our contact formWe will do our best to locate your parcel straightaway and let you know what steps we can take to help you.

I've given the wrong address!

If your order has yet to be shipped, do reach out to us via email with the correct address so that we can make the amendments. We are unable to redirect orders once they are on their way to you. In the event, an insufficient or incorrect delivery address has been provided, an additional fee will be charged for reshipping the item out once it rebounds to us. Do kindly allow up to 3 weeks for returns to be received and processed. 

Is there the option for Self-Collection?

At the moment we are available at these Stockists located around Singapore to purchase your items from directly if you need them urgently. Unfortunately orders placed online cannot be picked up from the stockists.

If I preorder an item, can the instocks be sent first?

When placing an order which includes an Instock and Preorder item, please indicate on the Preorder item page if you would like to have your Instocks sent first. A fee of SGD4.50 will be charged for the additional shipment.

How do I ensure that my package is gift wrapped?

While checking out, please check the box to add gift wrapping, and select the quantity you require if you have more than one item that requires it. You can visit our Gift Wrapping page for more information on the options available.

Will I be charged customs, taxes or import duties? *International orders only

Any customs, taxes or import duties are charged once the order reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the order.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Do contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.

It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. In rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.
